Dine with Novelli Print

 

 

The Festival's day-time programme was complimented by two special evening events.

On Friday 23rd September Michelin-starred chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, delighted an audience of 90 diners with a demonstration of a three course dinner menu smoked salmon, braised pork and Food Festival crepe , specially selected from local ingredients. Click here to download the recipes.

Northumberland Gazette competition winner, Vince Hope, joined Jean-Christophe on the stage to prepare the food.  “We had a fantastic time and cooking with Jean-Christophe was a brilliant experience,” said Vince.

Jean-Christophe also generously auctioned three day places at his Academy in aid of this year's featured charity, Hospice Care's Jam Jar Army Appeal.
