The Northumberland Estates represents the business interests of the Duke of Northumberland.
The Percy family have owned Alnwick Castle and surrounding lands since 1309. In order to ensure the continued upkeep of this heritage, the business has undergone significant change in recent years.
Today the core of the business focuses on property development, management and investment. The Estate owns an international property portfolio although this centres on the North East of England where we are based. Tourism is another important contributor.
The Northumberland Estates is proud to support the Alnwick Food Festival.
Bruce Jobson Associates have provided 'pro bono' PR & Media services to the Food Festival throughout the summer.
The media placements they have facilitated have helped to raise the profile of the Food Festival and our 2012 programme in magazines, regional and trade press.
We are very grateful for Bruce's support.
Many thanks to Geoff Keenan, of Outlook, Alnwick, for supplying and constructing the kitchen which will be used for cookery demonstrations in the Northumberland Hall.
