The Northumberland Estates represents the business interests of the Duke of Northumberland.

The Percy family have owned Alnwick Castle and surrounding lands since 1309. In order to ensure the continued upkeep of this heritage, the business has undergone significant change in recent years.

Today the core of the business focuses on property development, management and investment. The Estate owns an international property portfolio although this centres on the North East of England where we are based. Tourism is another important contributor.

The Northumberland Estates is proud to support the Alnwick Food Festival.

The shop was founded by Roger Turnbull in 1880 and is now run by Mark Turnbull, his great-great-grandson.
