2012 Alnwick Food Festival dates  -

21st, 22nd and 23rd September

More than 30,000 people enjoyed the three days of the 2011 Alnwick Food Festival enjoying free admission to top-class entertainment, cookery demonstrations by local chefs, and a bustling market square offering a wide range of produce for sale.

The 2012 Food Festival will once again be headlined by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli on Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd September.

The 2011 Food Festival was extended over three days to incorporate the Alnwick Farmers Market on Friday 23rd. In addition to the usual line-up of chefs, there were more than 50 stalls and exhibitors in the Market Place and its surrounds, a Community Market, and an Art & Craft Market - and even a chance to test drive the latest electric Smart car

Alnwick Beer Festival, organised by Alnwick Round Table, was again held over the same weekend. A large selection of local ales will be on offer in the Town Hall, adjacent to the Market Place, in an event which is very popular and well-attended.
