The Chilli Man is coming to the 2008 Alnwick Food Festival.

Entertainer and chilli nut, The Chilli Man, has accepted an invitation to appear at this year's Alnwick Food Festival. Chiili Rich is a member of the Little Green Men and is passionate about chillies. His company is a chilli pepper, chile seed, chilli product and chilli plant supplier and specialises in supplying chilli products for your oral pleasure. FANS of ale are in for a treat this year as the second Alnwick Beer Festival has again been organised to coincide with the food festival.

The event, run by Alnwick Round Table, will be held in the Town Hall in Alnwick Market Place and will feature 30 real ales from 15 local breweries all located in the North of England.

Opening times:
Saturday, September 20: 11am-11pm
Sunday, September 21: Noon-6pm

Entrance: £5 (includes entry, souvenir beer festival glass and beer festival programme)

Children's special on the menu

ORGANISERS are cooking up a new addition to this year's Alnwick Food Festival. A children's food festival is being held, targeted at the under 16s.

It will be based at The Alnwick Garden and its focus will be on local produce with the same ethos as the food festival, which is run by Alnwick Lions Club.

Alnwick Food Festival serves up fourth tasty treat

CULINARY capers are on the cards again next year after Alnwick Lions announced plans for their fourth food festival. And the 2008 event promises to be even more spectacular than the previous gastronomic delights.
The Lions are cooking up several new treats for the Alnwick Food Festival, which has become an established event in the national foody calendar, attracting visitors from all over the country.
