The Criteria

The Tea Shop Trail gives the small cafes and tea rooms in the district the chance to join in the fun of Alnwick Food Festival. Each tea shop on the trail has chosen a speciality cake or pastry which will be sold during the festival period (September 21 to September 28, 2006) to help you choose which tea shop to visit. Tea shop owners must give a guarantee that their speciality cake will be home-baked and be advertised on their menu as the food festival special.
