By car

Alnwick is easy to get to by car. It is situated on the A1 between Berwick and Morpeth. Take the turn-off to Alnwick and follow the signs to the town centre car parks or the overflow parking. Check out the route planners of the AA or the RAC to map your journey.

By train

Alnmouth for Alnwick is situated on the East Coast Main Line from London to Edinburgh, is station which serves Alnwick. From there, either take a taxi or the bus for the 4 miles into Alnwick. National Rail Enquiries website will help you plan your trip.

By bus

A regular Arriva bus service operates between Alnwick and  Newcastle via Morpeth, and to Berwick. The Arriva website can help with times.

By plane

Newcastle International Airport is served by scheduled flights from the UK, Europe and Dubai. Alnwick is 30 miles north of the airport.
